McKay's Written in Red

While living in Longview, we got to know Roger McKay of McKay's Aussies. In December 2002, Roger had a litter out of ASCA/CKC/UKC BIS AKC CH McKay's Terbo Trix OfThe Trade, "Trader" (picture) and AKC CH Rockin' K's Tiffany (picture). We had the pleasure of being owned by McKay's Written In Red from this litter. Writer was a sweet and wonderful boy.
Writer's started in the ASCA show ring with a bang. He was Winner's Dog (for 3 points!) under breeder judge Pam Norman with Heidi Mobley handling him. We think they had more fun in the ring than anything!
Writer was a lover of toys and socks! Not just any sock...it had to be of color...no white sox for this boy! He would search a pile of clothes if they were left unattended and find the sox he wanted to play with. Ollie still has some sox with the evidence of Writer's playing.
Tragically, Writer died after escaping our yard, getting hit by a car. Writer touched our hearts and lives in a special way and he will always have a place in our hearts and minds.
We miss you, sweet boy.
