The Queen ~ Stockings
Stockings is THE QUEEN of our home. She was adopted from the animal shelter in Longview in 1992 as a puppy. Her mom was a beagle, but we are not sure what her dad was! She is as sweet as she is beautiful. Taco is very feminine and has to have things her way...her own dish for water...a special place to eat her food! Her "pillow" is her resting/sleeping place in our home. She recently had a trip to the vet and had a clean bill of health...for a 13 year old!
When we lived in Longview, she loved to go in the back and chase critters and birds around the backyard. The shed frequently had mice and such under it and she tried to get to them all the time. She LOVES to chase squirrels and still know that word when you mention it! Talk about smarts and drive!!
The other dogs in our home are certain of her rule...she rules with her bark! She can break up any squabble!
UPDATE * Since our move, she is the only always-inside-dog! She is once again the most spoiled animal on the planet! Although she is currently sleeping on the bed with us, she will soon move back to a plush bed on the floor.
