Breeding Goals: First of all, it will be our goal to always breed for correct type and mental/physical soundness. We also will strive to breed to produce a versatile Aussie. In addition, we will breed only after researching the particular genetic health and temperament issues at length in an outside animal used for breeding to one of our dogs. All of this is done to strive at a producing an overall healthy dog that will be an excellent companion and/or competitor for life. Puppies are raised in the home, and are well socialized. In your search for an Aussie, you will notice that most breeders will suggest that an Aussie is not for everyone! We totally agree with that statement. To learn more about our beloved breed, please research the characteristics of this animal in depth to make sure it is the animal for you! Characteristics of the breed - great resource from the Australian Shepherd Club of America. If you are considering an Aussie for your home, please educate yourself about the breed in order to know if this wonderful animal will fit into your lifestyle. Also, please note that we support the USASA and ASCA statements regarding the mini or toy Aussie. Below you will the statements issued.
